Candle Design

This is the Target Opalhouse Q2 2020 program, featuring summer-inspired fragrances. For this collection, I oversaw the entire candle development process—from design through production and manufacturing. My primary responsibilities included creating press-ready artwork, verifying TPG color matches and finishes, conducting error checks, and photographing the final product.

I collaborated directly with our manufacturing partners in China to refine finishes, styling, fragrances, and lid selections. I also had the valuable opportunity to meet and work with Target’s candle production team, ensuring alignment and precision throughout the development process.

Over the course of four seasonal programs, before the department transitioned out of our company, I gained hands-on experience in Pantone color systems, manufacturing workflows, press production, and project management.

During my time at Flora Classique, I worked extensively on fragrance packaging across a variety of products, including essential oils, incense, room sprays, reed diffusers, sachets, and potpourri. My work focused on developing designs and production-ready files primarily using Adobe Illustrator, as well as creating 3D product renders in Adobe Dimension to visualize packaging concepts.
